Hi Bill.
Well we have been here in your homeland for 5 days now. We flew to New York where it didn;t stop raining. The NY to Halifax. Greeat when we arrived but it then rained all the way up from Antigonish to Cheticamp. Since then the temperature hs been around 20 degrees, shirt sleeve weather even on he boat we went out on to watch whales in the Gulf of St Lawrence.
We love the miles and miles of open space and empty roads compared to the lack of open space we have in our part of the UK and the traffic that means it takes 20 minutes to travel half a mile!
Very friendly people these Acadians. Property is so cheap here as well. Tempting!!
4 more days here in Cape Breton and then we fly back to NY for 3 days and then back to reality!!
